Universal sets itself apart from other rehabilitation facilities Ive worked for because of their holistic approach to recovery from and adjustment to brain injuries. The staff aims to facilitate maximum independence based on the needs of each client; from involvement in activities and outings, to reintegration into the community when possible through outside volunteering and employment, to jobs within the facility especially in the general store. Rehabilitative support is provided through physical, occupational, speech, and art therapy. Emotional support is provided through counseling to assist clients as they adjust to their lives after injury. Daily activities are modified based on the preferences and abilities of the clients, increasing participation and maximizing socialization opportunities. Universal Institute provides comprehensive care for individuals with TBI.

Incredible place for adults with Traumatic Brain Injuries to not only rehabilitate, evolve and learn to accept their new normal, but it is also a place for them to experience endless support and love. For those seeking employment, obtaining a job at Universal not only means great benefits and feeling the joy of helping others, but it provides the opportunity for significant growth within the organization.

Joanne Ward should be in a wheelchair like the clients she treats like trash and you have Krystal Rivera her side man, and they are both complete scumbags
