This place is ridiculous. I lived there for two years never had any problems. I moved in under previous ownership and the complex was sold to GREYSTAR shortly after. I had my credit check run upon moving in and was happy to only put down $350 deposit for an overpriced apartment although the location is great. Really did enjoy living there at the time. When I moved out I kept asking where my deposit was and they kept saying it takes up to two months. Now two years later, they say I did not even have a deposit. I told the accountant for GREYSTAR that I even have my contract with the amount I put down and his answer was he sees contracts all the time this means nothing to me. People say they put deposits down all the time and they lie about it. Needless to say I was blown away at that answer considering I have contracts from my move in lease agreement and the second renewal agreement in which my deposit was transferred too. Yet this company has absolutely no record of my deposit and their accountant Jeff Postal with grey star is calling me a liar. Dont waste your money or time here theyll just rob you. Move out inspection was completed and 100% perfect.

We moved in in September of 2023 and was forced to move out February of 2024. It specifically states there is no smoking in the building but ours constantly smelt of marijuana. We have a young child and after finding out we are expecting a second, our doctor recommended getting out of that environment. We sent our complaint stating we need to leave. A follow up email letting tenants know smoking is prohibited was not sent until a month later. Upon receiving our final statement, the reason listed for leaving was complaining about neighbors/noise completely undermining the situation. I would not recommend living here as this was not handled in the best manor. They had offered to move to a different building but we walked through and smelt the same odor, which led to our decision to move, yet have to pay an early termination fee. All in all, bad experience.

Lived here November 2017 till June 2022; very nice experience, friendly neighborhood. I lived in building 1 where we had access to the clubhouse and business center without having to walk outside. Views were splendid! Could see the road, and bbq area, along with a nice green area. Through our stay we had problems with water heater, dish washer, washing machine/dryer. Considering it was an unrenovated apartment for cheaper rent, I didn't mind. Maintenance gave us new appliances to replace our broken ones, no increase in rent too! you have giant eagle, kohls, best buy and other shops within a 5 min walk. In the winter sometimes i have had to call maintenance to fix heater, and it would get fixed by the end of the day which was nice. Sometimes, we got water main break issues in the area as a whole... Maintanance bought water bottles, and got water tanks outside and in garages to make sure everyone had water for the day. If you are looking for an apartment around Pittsburgh, Liberty Pointe is definitely one of the best. If not the best. When we moved out, the management wished us a good luck, and in their check of the house, they were a bit more lenient since they were going to renovate it either way. (Lots of apartments try to rip you off money by saying random things) I will definitely miss my time in Liberty Pointe, and do plan on moving back there in the future. for those wondering why I moved out, It was purely for job opportunities in a different state.

Apartments are gorgeous however the leasing office is extremely difficult to get any assistance. If you need help best to go in the office or have to keep calling them even if they say they will call you back... they won't. They will threaten to tow cars parked in the future residents parking while one of the leasing workers parks her vehicle there daily.
