We were spoiled by our hosts (Carol and Battle) when we arrived to find we were the only guests for our one night in Bedford. There were so many beautiful rooms to relax in and Carol insisted we forget about our pizza plans and accept her offer to make us a charcuterie board (wine included) for dinner (much better than pizza!). We were again treated royally when we received a wonderful breakfast served on delicate china. We also enjoyed the interesting conversations with our hosts. We'll definitely return!

Why go anywhere else? Battle & Carol were spectacular hosts. The breakfast presented beautifully, it tasted phenomenal and left us well satisfied. The coffee was magnificent! The rooms were spotless and welcoming. 10 stars should be a rating! We already booked again for next year! Walkability: Walking distance to downtown Bedford with great shops and eateries.

This was a last minute trip and thankfully there was one room left. We are so glad there was!! What a wonderfully beautiful place. Carol and Battle are superb and gracious and charming hosts. We truly felt like family. Rooms: Its like stepping back in time. A beautifully restored Victorian home. With modern amenities. Nearby activities: Within walking distance of shops, restaurants, historical activities and the Heritage Trail. Walkability: Within walking distance to shops, restaurants, historical events, the heritage trail and much more. Food & drinks: Breakfast was served each morning. Worthy of a 5 star restaurant. Noteworthy details: Our hosts were not only wonderful but very personable and had such interesting stories.

I meant to write this ages ago and am sorry I didn't because the world should know what a wonderful place this is! If I could give Carol and her husband 10 stars I would. Carol went above and beyond to make me feel at home and welcome. I arrived hungry and tired from a long day of driving in the rain as I made my way from Colorado to eastern Pennsylvania. Carol sat me in front of a warm fire and brought me a big glass of red wine and a charcuterie board full of deliciousness- I couldn't have been happier. Once in my room I was delighted. The house and all the rooms are impeccable and beautiful. I chose the Daffodil room and so glad I did! It was spacious and cheerful with a gorgeous bathroom. Carol was also nice enough to house my bike in their garage for the night and I really enjoyed trading notes with her about Colorado during a truly delicious breakfast made by her husband. I highly recommend a stay here! The town was lovely too although I didn't have time to visit the American Coverlet Museum across the street, though will on another visit. There are also natural mineral springs in the area which I'll have to come back for as well. You've found the right place, just book it!!
