This is a amazing group of loving caring group of people who our definetly angels to all furbabies who do not get a fair chance in life Without them doing what they do & their deep love,and voice for the precious dogs,kitties that they rescue my heart goes out to each of them daily They truly are ANGELS & MORE!! We adopted Mudge from Abbys Angels a few years ago, and he has been the perfect fit for our family. I have nothing but good things to say about this rescue and the executive director Nicole. She pours her entire heart and soul into these dogs. There is not a more selfless person that I know. She spends a countless hours behinds the scenes making sure every dog that comes into care is given the opportunity to heal. I love that it is a foster based rescue because it truly allows for a dogs needs, likes/dislikes, etc. to be identified so that they can be matched up with the perfect home. Our experience with Abby's Angels was totally positive through every step of the adoption process. We fell in love with Rowdy as soon as we saw him on their site. As someone who works in the veterinary field, I've seen far too many adoptions that weren't good matches between the pet and owner. I have the upmost respect for them in regards to their screening process. Thankfully we were considerer a good match for Rowdy. We live in Maryland and drove over two hours each way twice, once to meet him and then to pick him up. I also want to give a shout out to the fosters. Rowdy's foster (Kerri) did such an awesome job acclimating him to life in a house, caring for his injured leg and doing basic training with him. Oops...just realized I'm logged into my work account.
