Richmond Hotel Bar & Grill

My food was very good, I must say. And the portions are enormous for the money. Great value in that regard. But my entree came out before my salad; my salad was initially served with the wrong dressing; my friends' meals were undercooked; drinks and refills were served incorrectly or forgotten altogether; and when one of my friends said she was ready to walk out due to the bad service, our server said she's welcome to do so. Guests who arrived after us were being served before us. And food was being served to only some guests at each table, rather than an entire table getting all of their food at once. Those who know me know that I sympathize with servers, and I am all about supporting mom & pop establishments over corporate. I do not like having to say these things.

In the past the food was good with nice size portions. The service however was never great..and was the reason I didnt go there more often. The service has gotten worse to the point of being ridiculous. The last time I was there..there was no one behind the bar. Someone came out, looked at me, ignored me and went back. She comes out again talks with someone at the bar and goes back again. Then as Im leaving..asks if I want anything. I just walked out. I dont beg anyone to take my money. Restaurants are a dime a dozen. BTW..the place was not that busy. I wont go back and I dont recommend.
