As a small business owner it is imperative that you network. The Chamber of Commerce gives you the opportunity to meet with other local business owners and network. They are a wealth of knowledge to help you navigate through your areas small businesses. They are such a great asset!

I can't say enough about the wonderful welcome I received when I first contacted the Slate Belt Chamber to see if my business, Social Seed Media, could join. Even though I am located outside of the Slate Belt, a number of my clients are #SlateBelt businesses, and I have come to love the region for its strong sense of community. Executive Director, Laura McLain responded with an enthusiastic, "Absolutely!" Not only was I encouraged to join, but I was invited to co-present a workshop on "Leveraging Social Media" and have enjoyed the strong network of business support through this independent Chamber. Having recently attended their Summer 2019 Business Meeting, I was inspired by all of the dedicated Board Members who volunteer to keep the Chamber of Commerce moving forward in their mission of supporting local businesses.
