My husband and I had the privilege of getting married at the Ardmore United Methodist Church during the pandemic and we mean the height of it back in 2021. As two roman catholics we intended to go to our catholic church for our wedding but unfortunately our parish could not accommodate us, enter Father Tim. I found his information on a search site for wedding officiants and from the first call with him, my husband and I knew that it would be an honor to have our sacred matrimony at Ardmore United Methodist Church. This beautiful Methodist church opened its arms to two catholics to celebrate the great sacrament of marriage. Father Tim is the epitomy of a super peaceful, positive vibes priest who welcomes all to celebrate the word of God and worked with us personally to incorporate a special Roman Catholic version to our ceremony, Father Tim understood our traditions the importance of keeping with our private marriage ceremony. If you are looking for an amazing Church Wedding I can't stress to you brides that this is a beautiful, classy and traditional chapel style church and a memorable location for a wedding. This review is the story of our wedding and we can't express how special a church this is!!!!

This church is truly a place of refuge and a lighthouse in time of trouble and regular situations. I have been affiliated with this organization for over eighteen years and I have benefited in so much amazing ways and on so many levels, physically, emotionally and spiritually. The parishioners believe in helping to reach those that needs to be spiritually uplifted while creating a healthy balance to just be there with an open mind for anyone who needs an ear. Pastor Timothy Hohl, has been leading the team for over 10 years and the wealth of humility, understanding, calmness, love, grace, peace and wisdom that we continue to see in him is beyond human understanding. His leadership has made a huge difference in bringing together different people from all socio-backgrounds to worship in one setting to achieve their spiritual goals, is more than powerful. Overall, I have been tremendously blessed to be an exofficio member of the body. Full disclosure:  I am not a Methodist.  I have, though, been a neighbor for many years.   This congregation is a nice group of people - from their events open to all, their community garden to feed the homeless, the serene meditation garden and to their arrangements with local businesses for weekday parking that relieves our narrow streets of cars while also keeping the employees close to their jobs, they are awesome.  I also love their bake sales on Election Day as they Host a local polling place. I had an opportunity to meet with Pastor Tim recently.  He's a genuine, approachable and kind man with a good sense of humor. The church itself is beautiful, like something from a painting, and it's well kept.  I'm glad to be their neighbor.
