Spanish Immersion Learning Center

I have nothing but nice things to say about SILC! The teachers/staff, the atmosphere, and the curriculum were all top notch. The communication between myself and her teachers was always easy and effortless. My daughter genuinely enjoyed going everyday, she enjoyed learning the language, and I feel is better prepared for kindergarten because of it! The staff became family to us and for that we are forever grateful. She was very sad to leave but the memories will last forever. We plan to keep up with her Spanish speaking abilities! We HIGHLY recommend this place for your toddler/preschooler!

My son attended the Spanish Immersion Learning Center from age 3 to age 5. Our experience was extremely positive. My son enjoyed learning Spanish, participating in different educational/cultural activities, and becoming friends with his classmates. The teachers and staff are friendly and professional. Even though I myself do not speak Spanish, I always felt comfortable that my son was not only safe at school, but I was also confident that he was actively learning and having fun!

Exceptional learning center! The staff is educated, nurturing and dedicated. In only nine months my five year old went from speaking ZERO Spanish to being able to fully converse with his teachers, engage in imaginary play at home while speaking Spanish and getting excited when he heard people in public speaking the language he has grown to love. The joy that Spanish Immersion Learning Center brought to my son's life is indescribable and I am forever grateful. He is more than prepared for Kindergarten!

Our son started attending the Spanish Immersion Learning center when he was 1.5 years old. We wanted to start him in school because he wasnt speaking yet. as any first time mom and dad we were so selective and didnt want our child going to just any child care. Nadia did a tour with us and we fell in love with this center immediately. their core values, their curriculum, their security, everything is amazing. 6 months later, my son speaks only spanish and runs to school every morning without looking back at us. Special shoutout to his teacher Cynthia who has shown my son such genuine love. Do not hesitate enrolling your child in this school.

We began our journey with language acquisition with the 3-hour Saturday workshops with my then 3-year-old (daughter) and 8-year-old (son) in February of 2019. My daughter remained at the center through the 2019 summer program, By the fall 2019, we were so impressed with the program that we fully committed our daughter to SILCs day care program full-time and lamented that the center did not exist when our son was young. The speed of our daughters language acquisition was incredible to experience and help inspire my own language acquisition. We continued with SILC despite the fact that it does not have an accredited kindergarten (not because our child was not learning all of the things children in English-based school learned and more but because Pennsylvania does not yet recognize curriculum delivered not delivered in English), We have always felt that our daughter received an excellent education and not just in Spanish, but in traditional pre-K, K subject matter and cultural appreciation, though my daughter understands and speaks Spanish very well. I can also speak to the adult program, which is an excellent immersive experience as well. We cannot recommend SILC enough and will be sticking around through other programs as long as we can to maintain and improve our language skills.
