TruGreen Lawn Care

I've been with Trugreen for several years. Everything worked fine until last year. They created a very "smart" schema to rip you off. When you sign- up for a new year and pay in advance to get " a few $$ discount", you don't realize that some of the services from the last year AUTOMATICALLY moved to the next year. And if you have not CANCELED each one of them INDIVIDUALLY, you will get a non-requested service and get billed. Nice! And after calling customer service-you get an answer- you can cancel if you don't like it. Nice! Not to mention that service is becoming worse and worse each month- maybe it's only related to our local Lehigh Valley representative. Looks like they are spaying your lawn with weeds( probably much cheaper). Or they might not even come- just sending some report by mail. Nice!

I had another lawn care service who was doing a wonderful job with my lawn, it never looked better. They sold out to TruGreen and without my knowledge or permission TruGreen showed up and applied weed control and pest control. Within a week large brown patches and lawn stripes showed up where their liquid application had been applied. My lovely lawn turned into a patchwork of brown spots. First & foremost: I URGE YOU TO CHECK TO MAKE SURE THE WORK IS BEING PERFORMED. I see a pattern in these reviews. If you were not home when they say they were there treating your lawn… please ask your neighbor if they saw the techs treating your lawn or watch your cameras. I’m not even joking. It’s how I caught them. TruGreen & Green Turf merged and Green Turf turned all names & accounts over to this fraudulent company. They both have the same thing in common: charging customers for services not performed. Don’t believe me? Watch your security footage. I caught the Green Turf guys lying and sent the video proof to the owner and yet they turned my info over to TruGreen. My husband called TruGreen and explained we would not pay for services that were never performed. He told them we have video proof of techs going in our yard with no equipment in hand, standing there and then walking back out 5 minutes later, I have texts between the Green Turf (now TruGreen) owner and I where I send him the videos and other proof and that wasn’t enough for TruGreen to back off… nope… they called me and left a message to see if I would pay some of what they say I owe! They said a district supervisor or area Mgr would call and they never did. So now I just got notice that my account is suspended (LOL) and that 200 plus dollars is due and this is the last time they will ask before collections. TruGreen this is my final “cease & desist” for you. I will file a formal complaint with my State Attorney General or whoever I need to. I signed nothing with Green Turf or you. Green Turf did not perform the services they said they would and were caught & CONTINUED to enter my gated yard without my knowledge and continued to claim my yard was treated despite being sent video that it was NOT TREATED! Not only that but your technicians have not treated anything. If you put this to collections we will have a huge problem. Stop harassing us for payment. We received no services. You will receive no payment.
