Two stars because most of the staff is lovely and works hard. BUT Last week I got a notification in my box that I was sent a certified letter and needed to pick it up. When I went to the window to pick it up I was told it was no longer there so I must have picked it up. I did not pick it up. I did not sign for it. I had not been in the post office for over a week. I was then told I probably did pick it up and just forgot about it! I guess I the postal worker also forgot to take the slip from me? This would be comical but... it's not just any certified letter and as a result I am now in a very bad situation with the other party. We're talking that I may have to hire a lawyer because the PO marked it as having been received when it was clearly lost. The other party wants to know how I know I had a certified letter sent if I did not receive it? The truth "because I have the slip but not the letter" makes me look deceptive at best. ERGH! EDIT: Just learned the USPS will have to show my signature which they do not have if this goes to court!
