Emler Swim School of Portland - Tualatin - Martinazzi Square

Couldnt be happier with Emler. I have two neurodivergent kids and Emler manages to seamless get and accommodate their individual needs without also making a big deal of it in a way that undesirably singles them out. Staff are welcoming, friendly, accommodating and compassionate. Its been a ton of fun to see my two progress. They have a new, simplified level system that I really like. Simpler = better

We have been to three swim schools in the Portland Metro area over the past 4 years and this one has been the most transformative for our kids. Their instructors are qualified, kind and effective, and their method is time-tested and works! Would highly recommend.

While it's a little costly, they have a really true and true method of teaching and our kids that were extremelynervous, eventually overcame and are really starting to enjoy the challenges each week

We had a great experience with Emler. They keep the facilities clean and tidy, and have fun holiday decorations and activities that help the kids feel involved and excited to be there. Its helpful that there are always coloring sheets and crayons out too. This location was recently renovated. The layout is intuitive and there are enough surfaces and storage, showers, and changing rooms. Our favorite teacher is Becca! She is really fun and always seems genuinely happy to see and engage each child. She has a playful, yet firm approach to challenging the kids and setting reasonable expectations. They love how she uses water toys to learn new skills or challenge them to go further with an established skill. A couple of the other teachers we saw during drop-in classes seemed good too.
