West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta

We had so much fun at the pumpkin festival. Very nice restaurant selections.

This was not well organized - the amount of people who come here to actually witness the regatta, good luck. If you're tall no problem, short you're screwed. I don't recommend coming back, I'm a one and done.

If you're short and you don't get a place up front early, it's hard to see much. But I still had a good time. At least a group of little kids had a good idea to climb up a tree so they could see.

This event is held basically on a walkway around a little lake surrounded by buildings. There's no open space, grass, or park areas to get away from the crowd or for the crowd to spread out. I could hardly see the race through the crowd, too. It may technically be dog friendly, and accessible, but it was a struggle..
