The pharmacy is so understaffed that you have to go in to start the fulfillment process. They don't ever have my prescription waiting for me.

This pharmacy used to be terrible, unusable, until they fired the lady who would wear mismatched socks and her outfit inside-out. Ever since she left I've had no problems.

This pharmacy is baffling! Personally, I dont fill my prescriptions here but I do pick up prescriptions for a friend and I have never dealt with a pharmacy or pharmacist like this. The first issue is they never answered their phone! I have called so many times, but never received an answer just Automated runaround. Today I went in to pick up the prescription. Her doctor had called in. It was a change to what she usually had because her current prescription was making her sick. The pharmacist proceeded to tell me that its too soon to fill it because she just failed , a similar prescription a couple weeks ago. Now I work as a caregiver for multiple people, and as far as I have ever known, if the doctor sends in a prescription, then its approved insurance may not cover it, but the doctor sent it in therefore, the doctor has decided that that person needs it. so when did it become the pharmacist decision whether or not its time for the patient to get the prescription? Isnt that the doctors job? If the doctor sent it in then the doctor has decided thats what best for the patient right? So why does the pharmacist get to say just tell her to double up on her current prescription, and when those are gone, come see it The unprofessionalism is amazing!

I have been putting off writing this review I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt thinking that maybe they were short staffed at one point or another but this issue has been going on ever since I transferred my prescriptions to this location! THE DONT ANSWER THE PHONE EVER! Its not like this is a once in a while thing That I could understand assuming that sometimes people get busy, but I have been having my prescriptions filled here for three months, and in the three months I have never once been able to get through on the phone. I physically have to go into the pharmacy in order to check the status of a prescription. I understand there is an app but when its a new prescription, its not in the app yet and this location wont even start filling the prescription until you talk to them. I try to be understanding, but This has got to be one of the most frustrating things on earth! When I get to the pharmacy I which I usually have to do on my lunch break or some someone else to do it there is at least two if not three pharmacists working so I just dont understand Why they dont even attempt to answer the phone again I understand people get busy, but I have never had this issue at any of the other locations. I dont know if they turn the ringer off or what But any other pharmacy Ive ever used to answers the phone and may put you on hold for a while, but they always answer it or at least have a voicemail box where you can leave a message. And please understand Im not just calling once a month I will call 20 times in one day trying to get in contact and all I get is the voicemail sending me to the pharmacist which sends me back to the automated system. I really empathize with elderly patients who may not be as mobile as they used to be and not be able to get out of their car to go in Just to initiate the prescription filling and then wait another hour until its ready. When Im there the pharmacists are nothing but pleasant and I have no complaints in that area but it would be really really really nice if I didnt have to drive all the way from downtown Portland to downtown Tigard just to verify that my prescription would be filled.
