Kids Campus

My son attended Kids Campus from the age of 3 mos to 12 years. The Kids Campus staff became like family for my husband and our son. It was really hard to drop him off that first day, so many years ago, but the staff made the transition smooth. As our son grew, he was guided by the staff at Kids Campus to show compassion, friendship, and how to deal with others, even when things weren't going his way. I firmly believe that by partnering with Kids Campus, they helped support my little family in raising a wonderful young man! My son is 16 now, and I still get compliments from family friends on how polite and considerate our son is. Our son also receives high marks from his teachers for being a conscientious young man. Our son has friendships that formed back when he was a toddler! Check out Kids Campus, you will see how loving and caring the staff is! One last thing, most of the staff have been there for many years, and provide stability to the children in their care.

There were two things that initially drew us to Kids Campus in Tigard:1) We really like the fact that the max capacity of infants  is 4.  This meant my daughter had one instructor during the majority of the day and only 3 other infants max.  We first enrolled in Feb/ March of 2014 when our daughter was just over 2 months old while I transitioned back to work part-time.  2) The day I met Miss Elizabeth, the primary infant instructor, I was sold.  She is warm, calm and grounded.   The Director at the time had worked there for I believe 16 or so years and now had his children attending which spoke volumes to us and still does.Our daughter has spent the last year growing with 3 other amazing children, only a month or so apart.  Not to mention the few kiddos who are a little older that she watched grow up and has now joined as a "wobbler".  The staff works extremely hard to be supportive of each other and it shows; they are truly a family.  We do not think we could be more impressed by the dedication of Pattie and Darcy as they have been with Kids Campus for many years, (you can ask them how many... we know; yet you should inquire if you are interested). Kris was always welcoming and friendly on the earliest mornings and made it so easy that when we had to take our daughter in early there was no worries to be had.Mrs. Margarita has been the primary instructor for the "wobblers". She is so energetic, expressive and passionate about the children's growth, development and care.  Kids Campus Tigard staff and children attending have been an extended part of our family for some time.  We don't believe we could find a better experience anywhere else. The campus is kept clean during the day and cleaned in the evening- no harsh chemicals or smells.  I have seen the teachers act appropriately when they handle children's outbursts or behavior; often talking to the children and asking them about their frustration(s) while separating them from other children to alleviate any disruptions. We are forever grateful for the trust and care of our daughter and the extended family we found.  We hope you also find yourself so lucky to become a part of this extended family.  We will miss the great experience we had with Kids Campus dearly.
