Dude: you can, but the key mechanism breaks on people all the time Me: well, can I at least try to open up this one just to see what looks/feels like? Dude: no, the one we have here is already broken. Me: I think Ill go visit the other store and spend my money there. They are helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They had what we needed in stock and were available for a follow up question during installation. The prices were the same or better than online. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

This place is fantastic! We were on the fence on if we wanted to add a crossbar/carrier system to our car. Eric greeted us when we walked in and answered all of our questions, he really made all our concerns go away. Eric also gave me the confidence that I could install the crossbars myself when I originally wanted to pay to have Rack Attack do it. I went home and was able to install the cross bars without any issues. I drove back and Eric was there, checked them out and ensured they were installed correctly and then helped me install the Thule carrier onto the car and explained all the features and how they worked. Same price as a big box store or online, but with amazing customer service.

The folks at Rack Attack in Tigard have been knowledgeable and helpful as I fine tuned a new rack set up. They had what I needed but were also great about figuring out how to use what I had. Highly recommend.
