Rented cabin. Price was very good, employees were fantastic, cabin was really good. Unbelievable location. Cafe hours are short, bring something to eat, cabin has fridge and microwave. More than five stars. Rooms: Stay in a cabin. It has all the stuff you can get from a hotel room plus a whole lot of nature. The price is affordable for a quick getaway. I'll be back, often. Nearby activities: Silver Falls State Park. Lots of hiking, ten Waterfalls. Meadows, Forest, stargazing. NATURE !!!

Great place to stay for any event. Restaurant food is good, if overpriced. But then its worth it to be up in such an awesome environment. My go to place for coffee whenever I hike in the park. The tiny cabins are awesome, clean and comfy. I am updating this after my stay recently. Unfortunately the lighting in my cabin was just bare bulbs without shades. It was glaring and uncomfortable. Also, the water heater under the sink was not working. I told them this in person. The maintenance guy came over and confirmed that the heater was broken but that they didn't have a replacement. He then told me there were showers in the meeting hall that were for guest use. No one ever told me that in the three times that I stayed there. It wouldn't have mattered though since the men's room light was out so I wouldn't have been able to shower anyway in the dark. Then I noticed I was sent an email late in the day asking what kind of lights were in my cabin. Since there is no internet or phone at the cabin I don't understand why they would send me an email that I couldn't get asking for information they should have or for which they could send someone to look themselves. When I finally responded with an email explaining all the problems I had as I was leaving I never ever got a response from anyone. This is absolutely unacceptable. I probably won't stay here again. Safety: Path lighting is mostly not working Noteworthy details: The management does not respond to concerns.
