I've had a lot of dental procedures, but I have never experienced the sheer pain I experienced today. The doctor shoved the needle deep into my jaw and injected very quickly. I was screaming and had tears running down my face, but it wouldn't end. The doctor just kept telling me to breathe. 10/10 pain. It was a woman dentist. I'm going to request Dr Hardy or Dr Andrus from now on, because they've always been gentle. Very unhappy with the experience. It's made me afraid to go to the dentist. I've been a patient of Oakmont for a really long time, and frankly I'm shocked that this happened to me there, where I felt safe. I no longer feel safe.
Edit to add:
They were like, "yeah, that's a painful spot to get a shot *giggle*"
The tooth they were working on is one that lost it's crown, so I've had dental work EXACTLY there and never experienced something like that.

First time to see Dr. Ian, he is by far my favorite. Hes a no nonsense kind of a guy, he didnt try to tell me I need to do this or that, he just fixed what I needed done and was super nice about it. Hes professional and patient and said if I ever need anything, to just call and hell figure out what to do! Hes a keeper! Thank you for taking the time

Mariah is such a great hygienist!! I was terrified of going to the dentist and of getting my teeth cleaned from past experiences that werent at all pleasant, she asked me what my fears were and asked that Id give her a chance at cleaning my teeth. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time and is very cautious with my painful areas. And always a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend Oakmont Family Dentall!!

Allison was very gentle, funny and friendly. Dr. Ian was warm, friendly and professional. Definitely a welcoming, efficient, knowledgeable team. Would definitely recommend.

Best best best! From the locations, the clinics look, the representatives that call you to help you with scheduling appointments and of course people at site: front desk, assistants and Doctors.
I recommend this place 100%!
Today was my toddler first visit and he felt so nice and comfortable.
