I didnt even want to give 1 star.
I would not get your hopes up about booking Sarahi. Communication is horrible. I messaged on Instagram and never got a reply. I sent an inquiry and she responded via email. She got my phone number and setup a consultation call. She never called. I emailed again (twice actually) - nothing. I messaged again on Instagram - nothing. I can see she saw my message and I kindly asked her to reply if she was not interested in doing my bridal makeup. Nothing. Dont even waste your time!

Sarahi is incredibly talented and worth every penny! She did HMU for myself, my bridal party, my mom and my mother-in-law. We had a tight timeline for HMU and she actually finished everyone's HMU with time to spare! Everyone looked so gorgeous all day and night long. If you are looking for an elevated natural look, Pure Elegance has you covered.
Besides everyone's HMU looking so good, Sarahi brought such a peaceful energy to our wedding morning. She is easy to talk to and great to be around especially on your wedding day.

It pains me to leave a poor review, because the truth is, if Sarahi communicated with me and we were able to move forward with services, Im almost positive it would be a 5 star review! Her work looks beautiful.
I was so excited to work with her for my micro wedding and we were at a point in communication where she claimed she was available for my date. We scheduled a phone conversation about some ideas and how to move forward with setting a date to get my test run done and chatted. I offered a few dates, she stated she was off at a destination wedding and would get back to me a week later and I never hear from her again. I emailed. Gave her time. Texted the number we communicated on prior. Gave her a week between the communication, still offered new dates. Nothing. No response. I was legitimately ghosted. Its a shame, because I dont think communication is a hard thing to do. She and I were not in contract, but even stating things changed and she was no longer available? Ok. Now I am a month out from my wedding, no one is available and I am now forced to learn how to do my own makeup and have my sister do my hair not what I wanted. Hopefully, if you read this review you dont run into my situation!

Choosing Sarahi Welton to be my hair and makeup artist was one of the best decisions I could have made regarding wedding planning! She is super sweet, thoughtful and knowledgeable about what she does. She brought my vision to life and made me fall in love with my look! I know that traditional and "neutral" styles can be kinda boring for makeup artists, but she made it seem like even though she'd done it hundreds of times, that she loved doing it anyways! She travelled to my air bnb since our wedding was an early afternoon wedding and she gave me a test kit to keep with me so I could reapply as needed. I can not thank Sarahi enough for the excellent work that she did, I am still in love with how my hair and makeup turned out and how beautiful I felt on my wedding day and it's all thanks to her!
