Maddie's passion for helping people to reconnect with their body, and find ways to honor it, is clear from the moment you talk to her. Her approach is extremely kind, caring, inclusive, and body positive. She has a profound intuition for body work, and is the kind of massage therapist that can feel what the body is telling her it needs! She is very communicative with clients to ensure that they understand what she is doing or suggesting, and that they are comfortable with the process the entire way!

Between massages and great yoga, Maddie is your one stop shop for self care! Maddie genuinely cares about your journey and can give the right care to compliment it each step of the way. I highly recommend you check her out as soon as possible.

I was diagnosed with PTSD and have been (and still am) in therapy for the events that occurred and their aftermath. Im also a neuropsych student in higher level education. I felt like I had plateaued as far as my progression until I started seeing Maddie. My therapist is great, and I have almost finished 3 degrees in psychology, but even so, as the great Van Der Kolk (MD) says The Body Keeps The Score and it does. Pushing past the discomfort of not verbally processing trauma (which is a valid form of therapy most common in Western societies), but learning to tell Maddie where in my body I could still feel the trauma, then addressing those areas via movement, and massage (more of an Eastern approach) was the key to progression for me. Talk therapy is a top-down approach to healing, this is a bottom-up approach and I utilize and swear by both. Maddie is also very easy to talk to and her practice has a very comfortable and safe space feel to it.
