    All the ladies here are so wonderful. Alejandra was swift when handling a fraud claim and getting my funds back. Nicole and Chandra are usually at the front when I get here for all my banking needs and can handle 90% of my needs and are easy to get along with. And Cathy is an absolute expert at everything banking and makes it understandable for a simple mind like mine.

    Had a very pleasant experience with Morgan Wilson at the State St. branch. She was very professional and helpful on assisting me with my accounts. The call center in Portland needs to take some lessons on customer service from Morgan.

    Edit again- Fawn saves First Tech again. As I've always stated the branch staff are amazing and this review affects them directly so I am changing it to a review of 5 stars for the staff but the head office I still would say are operating predatory practices. On inspection even more money was taken in fees this month (14 x $33 - Fawn refunded 6) than previously thought and a class action is probably the way to go for it's members (including me). The short answer is. If you are not doing international business (their wire service just went from next day to 14 days) and if you always have excess money in the account and only have to deal with the amazing branch staff at state street then this is the service for you. If not I'd still recommend avoiding unfortunately. Didn't think it would come to this but I've got to leave the great staff as I can't afford to bank here anymore. Edit- so unfortunate Predatory practices- it is with great regret that I have to leave this review as the staff at the local site are great but the company itself has lost all touch and is now punishing members beyond any reasonable level. My check arrived late by a day from work (as happens to us all sometimes) and I saw an over draft charge. No problem I understood that until they had levied 8 charges of $33 in a couple of hours, which of course compounded the problem. I thought it must be an error, but no it wasnt. I called them and they would only reverse 3. I looked back over the month and between all my accounts they had charged me over $400 in fees. If you want to be treated like a human and not a commodity to be milked dry then I must now advise you to avoid First Tech at all costs. Its been a roller coaster with them but now this is a few times where charges are out of control and nothing can be done. They are the most expensive banking Ive ever had. Its time to start looking at class actions I feel. I should also say that we pay for overdraft protection and it should take it from our personal line of credit which had money available. Every other bank or credit union would take one fee and then reject other requests but First Tech wants to punish you as much as possible - previous review Ive changed this review as theyve put in a lot of changes. Now back to being good but the only downside is they force you to have appointments and you cant get same day appointments. Also cant call the branch directly. Staff there are awesome and so helpful. I would recommend them and for international business surprisingly great -old review below Used to be great and some great people still there but they closed the other branch and now lines too long and theyve even reduced workers. Currently still here trying to deposit cash after 1 hour. Please word of advice get the appointment guy behind a teller desk and that would do way more than having him schedule appointments. Witnessed 2 people just leave complaining of the time taken and also talking with others people they are looking for a different bank/credit union. So sad was good now terrible
