Should I start with the mold? Bugs? Or maintenance issues that never get fixed? Don’t expect anything to get fixed. Don’t expect to be able to communicate with anyone who will solve problems for you. DO expect leaky roofs, mold, bugs, overflowing garbage outside (including condoms and hypo needles), rent increases, and being nickle and dimed to death when you finally move out. Fair warning.

Horrible place to live! The manager does nothing when you report issues to her, but come take pictures and do nothing to fix anything. There is cockroaches, mold, plumbing issues, and the list goes on.

Property managers don't mind screwing good people to rent the place out at a higher price. Scumbags.

Patti the new manager, is a complete liar. Don't ever consider renting here unless you want to risk getting scammed and lied to. I had contacted Patti about a townhouse to see if any apps had been put in yet. She told me no and emailed me an application. So the next day I went in to send it in but her office was closed. Apparently it is only open from 9pm-12pm. Okay, whatever. So I go in a little after 9 the next day and she seemed very nice. She showed me the townhouse that was being remodeled and said it would be ready in a week or so. The date was June 13th and our last day at our place will be July 7th so that worked out fine. So we go back to her office so I can pay the app fees and she then mentions that someone else has put in an app already but is having trouble proving her income and doesn't think it is going to work out. I felt like she should have told me that from the beginning but really made it sound like I had a shot so I paid the app fees. A few days pass and I hear nothing so I decided to email her to check in on June 18th. I specifically asked if the other lady had got approved just so I know because every day counts if we had to apply elsewhere. She responds by completely ignoring my question and asking if I have an extra rental reference (which I swear was already on there) but I got her the phone number for her to call. I have the email and her response email to prove that conversation. June 22nd comes around and I check in again. She says she is not able to get a hold of my past landlord. She claims she has called a couple times with no answer. I drive down there to talk to my old landlord and didn't catch her but I did call her the next day and she answered right away. She gave me quite an earful. She says she has left several voicemails and even left a brief reference over the voicemail and Patti never returned her calls. She also said she used to manage College Park apartments. I did believe her as she has given us references in the past with no problem and was really upset because Patti's lies were beginning to unfold. So I emailed Patti again and told her what I just heard. No response. So I have my husband call Patti and he tells me she says that she already told me that the other lady got approved and that our past landlord NEVER called her or left any voicemails. I was honestly shocked. First of all, she never told me that and I have ALL the emails to prove it. Also, she has the nerve to call our past landlord a liar? She was just dragging us around and for what? It is the end of the month and we had to scramble to find somewhere else. My husband and I have 4 kids and at this point, no where to go. If she was honest from the beginning then we wouldn't have wasted our time. She completely scammed us and lied to us. Maybe I can give her the benefit of the doubt and say she may have some memory problems or what not as she is an older lady but it still doesn't make it okay as a manager. DO NOT RENT HERE. At least until they get someone that is competent enough to do their job.
