Ive seen dr black for a endoscopy and everything went well, I was in good hands. How ever my problem is still there so I have been calling dr black leaving a message to set up an appointment for further testing and I havent received a call back yet. Ive left three messages now.. I know Im in good hands and I will go over to his office today and set up an appointment in person .

First impressions are lasting ... the front office is effectively "first impression". My doctor sent a referral for colonoscopy end of June. Because I was planning to leave town before summer-end, I called about 2 wks later, only to be told there was a backlog in scheduling but I'd get a letter as soon as they got to my referral. Two wks later, I called again ... no referral found (three other referrals went thru just fine). So I requested another referral from my doctor - a MONTH after the first. I waited again, and nothing, so I requested a referral to another provider. Within just ONE WEEK, I'd gotten response from them AND had the colonoscopy done! Fast forward another month & I FINALLY got a letter from J. Black's office, scheduling me for a consultation yet another FULL MONTH out, stating that colonoscopies were typically scheduled within 30 days of that consultation. I called the office to say don't bother - out of office for 2 wks! I left a msg, stating that I would not be showing for the scheduled appt & that I'd not be calling back to confirm that they'd gotten the msg. VERY POOR office procedures & I'd be uninclined to have work done by the doctor for that reason alone.

Knowledgeable and good bed side manor. Had An Egd with Dr Black. No complications.
