I have been insured with Ankeny over a year, the renewal seemed difficult for them and I was never told to expect a bill for my bond so my license ended up getting suspended and I found out from a client that it was suspended due to lack of bond. When I contacted Ankeny, Addie told me it was my fault because I didn't read my mail, never apologizing for miscommunication or showing the slightest empathy. I told them I would be looking elsewhere for coverage and their response was ok. Iv never had to make a claim thankfully and I'm not confident they would handle it to their best ability.

Good Insurance company. They insured me for the last 6 years with no problems or issues at all. Worth a quote for sure.

I'd give no stars if I could. Will set up my renters insurance, and entered the wrong email address. So, I wasn't getting any notifications. He knew I was moving across country, took my money when I was in VA, and I never heard from him again. No check in, no follow up - which wasn't surprising because he was not reliable when I initially contacted him. However, I needed renters insurance, so I proceeded. I had given him my card number for the initial charge - then nothing. Now, my policy is canceled. I chose Nationwide (which I'll have words with) b/c I've had my auto insurance through them for decades. Never late. Never any issues. Will was also told I would want to change over my auto insurance but he told me to wait on that, so there was never a consolidation of accounts. So, zero stars. Awful experience.
