Whether to enjoy the beauty of the Preserve ,fish nearby or swim in the crisp, clear Deschutes River, It s an absolutely gorgeous location, worthy of your attention. There is generally sufficient parking, with easy access to trails with signage describing the preserves history. There is a porta potty available, though primitive it does serve a purpose. For those who enjoy nature & beautiful scenery, I recommend visiting Borden Beck Nature Preserve. Restrooms: 1 portapotty Dog-friendliness: As most places, a leash is required along with cleaning up after your . Unfortunately, I saw too much evidence of this rule being ignored & there are even bags available to encourage owners to do so. Picnic area: I saw 1 picnic table, and there are open areas where one just needs a couple of chairs to relax & have a picnic

I absolutely love Borden Beck Wildlife Preserve & visit monthly. The beauty of the wetlands with so many flowers & plants along the banks is breathtaking. There is a portapotty type structure, a trail that takes you along the left side of the river with a picture postcard view in some spots. If you are visiting the area, I highly recommend a drive out to the preserve. Yesterday. I was dumbfounded to find various trash items scattered about to include cigarette butts, cans & other items that I picked up. So please remember the phrase, "If you pack it in, please pack it out.
