My sessions with Joanna at NeuroBodyWorks have been life-changing! I have never experienced such an effective body treatment. I'd been suffering from muscle pain and tension for months to the point of being sidelined from the physical activities I enjoy the most. Massage, acupuncture, rest, and yoga were not changing my situation. I could feel positive results after our first session and after a couple months of working together, my body is feeling and moving the best that it has in years. I only wish that I had found her sooner! Beyond her incredible skills, she has a warm and wonderful personality. If you are seeking pain relief, please don't hesitate to see her.

I had a great experience here. Joanna helped me work through some body awareness issues which improved my posture, ease of movement, and even helped my general anxiety. I highly recommend trying this treatment!

I have some fairly significant structural challenges and have tried physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care, massage, etc to lessen the pain from my herniated discs, bone spurs, and degeneration. I started noticing a reduction in my pain levels after our first appointment and just completed a run of 5 sessions in a week. It has been an amazing change. I am doing things that would have had me walking like a pirate for a month and am able to move and sleep so much more easily. Joanna, and her work in this modality, is so gentle. I tease her that its like being massaged by a cat. It doesnt seem as though light pressure would produce such significant results but I am sold - and so much more comfortable!

I have worked with her since I was 5, 11 now btw. Age is great. I feel down when I walk in and I am doing cartwheels on the way out. :)

I don't fully understand how or why this works, but in the last 3 months Joanna has done nothing short of working magic on my body. I have a number of complicated health issues and nerve damage/TBI from a massive car accident. I've tried everything; massage (every modality you can think of), acupuncture and chiropractic work, nerve blocks and steroid injections, physical therapy, prolotherapy, you name it, I've tried it. Nothing has had as long lasting an effect as my sessions here. It wasn't immediate relief, in fact after my first session my pain was bad for a few days, but then it subsided and i experienced my first non medicated break from excruciating pain in ages. After my second session I ached in weird ways for a day or two after, and then when it subsided, i again had unmedicated sustained relief. I think the weird pains after my first two sessions were just my body's reaction to moving in ways it wasn't used to and carrying myself differently. Every session since then has been a dream. I'm no longer in constant excruciating pain, and every session seems to bring me a little closer to feeling "normal" again...I'm not fully pain free yet, but it feels like it could be a possibility one day. My baseline is now mild discomfort (a 2 or 3) as opposed to constant pain at a level 8 (out of 10)...that change has made me so much more functional. I'm so grateful I was given a referral to NeuroBodyWorks (from a friend who had success with Joanna) and look forward to the progress we're making going even further. If you're in chronic pain, and have tried everything with little relief, give this a shot, because even though it's super gentle and subtle, it works!!!
