Casi Yost Photography

Lets face it - sometimes getting your picture taken can be uncomfy. You have no idea what to do with your hands, or you force a smile that ends up looking like you smelled something real bad. Not with Casi. Casis calm, happy demeanor immediately put us at ease, and we ended up having so much fun getting to know her that we completely forgot to be awkward. Not only is Casi cool as hell; shes talented as well. She has an amazing eye and is great at capturing authentic, candid moments. Could not recommend her more.

Chris and I feel so lucky to have had Casi (and Margaret) capture our wedding day. She is extremely talented, humble, and so easy / calming to be around on such a hectic day. She has such a natural knack for catching details and the energy of an event. Pulling the trigger on Casi as our wedding photographer was such an easy yes.

I have worked with Casi twice now, both for weddings that were truly stunning! Casi has the talent and ability to take a messy, half eaten piece of cake and use it to bring out the beauty that really capture the memories of the bride and grooms wedding day. I cannot recommend Casi enough to any couple that wants to capture all the memories on their wedding day. As a wedding coordinator, Casi is always so positive, fun, and easy to work with. She is more than just another vendor. I get excited anytime I see her name on my vendor list!

Casi, is one of the sweetest souls I've had the pleasure of working alongside. As a photographer, she's both radiant and calm making her the most comfortable presence to be around for both couples and fellow vendors on the day of events. Prior to the wedding, her communication style is always flexible and one of the most thorough I've seen from a photographer as her processes have all been streamlined and curated to ensure that her couple's are at ease on the days of their wedding. Her kindness, empathy and genuine connections with her couples allows them to open up and be captured in their truest forms. Raw emotions captured through her documentative approach is what makes her imagery truly an art form. For the romantics at heart looking for a candid and documentative photography approach, I truly can't recommend Casi enough!

Casi is incredible. She is a true photography talent, shooting both digital and film. Her style is so effortless and manages to be both editorial and candid at the same time. She knows light, and captures beautiful moments. I had so much fun working with her on a more creative pre-wedding shoot, and when the wedding came she did both stylized, creative portraits as well as candid shots that made you feel like you were there. Beyond that, Casi is shockingly responsive. Seriously, I don't know how she manages to respond so quickly while also staying so busy shooting and editing. She thinks of everything ahead of time, and works tirelessly day-of. You never see her but she's always there. On top of it all she is *so nice*. I can't wait to work with her again, and so glad she's getting he international recognition she deserves!
