If you don't have contractors, they will get you some. If you wanna stay in your home during repairs-and it's possible, they will make it happen. If you want to be impressed after the repairs these are the people to use. Highly professional, funny and freindly.

If I could leave no stars I would, working with this company has been a HORRIBLE experience. Now, this is my personal opinion, however I would compare their staff to a car salesman. The only words I can find to describe my disdain (from my own personal experience with them) would be scummy, greedy, corrupt, and horrendous customer service. Use at your own risk.

It's hard to know where to start when it comes to ServPro of SE Portland, a franchise that is actually Precision Edge Restoration. Like many others we suffered a burst pipe during the hard freeze in Portland during Christmas 2022. We initiated our own mitigation, turned off the water, and called ServPro, as I had used a different franchisee on a different house, and was pleased with them. The first ServPro folks arrived promptly on 12/27, and packed out some items, and returned the next day to deliver (but not install) some dehumidifiers and air movers. From then on the whole experience was an exercise in frustration. For the next five months, calls went unanswered and/or unreturned, appointments were made and missed, and in general ServPro was completely incompetent at almost every turn. By mid-January, after fruitlessly calling for over a week, I was informed that the supervisor who attended the initial mitigation has left the company -- taking a copy of our house keys with him! ServPro reluctantly agreed to have our locks changed, but this was the least of it -- ServPro didn't perform any water damage mitigation, other than to pack out some items, both to make room to take up the carpet and (ostensibly) for drying (more on this later). ServPro's next visit wasn't until the second week of February, and by this time the carpets and other items were irrevokably damaged, causing thousands of dollars of additional damage. It was then nearly another month before we got their repair estimate. My insurance agreed to the estimate, and we tried to move forward, but it was mid-April before repairs were begun, and early May before they were complete. Finally, when ServPro began to return the "packed-out" items, many were missing and others were water-damaged, as they had been wrapped tightly in plastic on pack-out and never opened up and dried out. Other items were damaged by having wet items stacked on top. It took ServPro almost a month (and more fruitless phone calls) before they finally located and returned all of our items. I hasten to say that when I did reach ServPro on the phone and when meeting their representatives in person, they were polite and friendly, but the overall business was incredibly chaotic and incompetent. ServPro turned a simple burst pipe (with minimal damage) into a nearly six-month ordeal, wasting countless hours of my time, and ultimately costing over $50,000. I cannot recommend this company to anyone for any purpose. Services: Flood restoration, Mold inspection, Water removal, Mold mitigation
