Wow, what a pleasant atmosphere and very nice people working here. My Hazel Woo really liked everybody and they are all animal lovers even the receptionist, who really made an exemplary good impression on me and my Hazel Woo. This is the spot I will be taking my animals from now on. It's a little place that is not crowded and we really felt special as the people that work here really care about my pet and the vet experience as a whole from the time I walked in till I walked out. This vet gets four paws up and a little boxer wiggle tale, this is a 5 star place! We will be spreading the word and happy to call this place our veterinary choice for our pet.

At first, I was convinced that this place just keeps terrible records. Incompetence would be bad enough, right? $1200 - $1500 was our quote for our cat's procedure, but the day before our appointment, they called to alter the quote to over $2000 and upsell us to a more expensive insurance plan. These people have no integrity. Their bate and switch tactics have got to be criminal. They've lost customers today, and we'll never be back. Now watch as they write a useless message pretending to offer a false solution.... do yourself a favor, go to any other Banfield. This one is a fraud.

If there is zero star, this banfield should have zero rating. Please don't get your pet to this hospital. They did not have ethic and expertise to treat your beloved pet. The vet should be ashamed. Here is what happened to losing my dog. This Tuesday first time we were in Banfield when my pet has difficulty walk and eat, they gave us some probiotics and some eyes medication. I asked vet literally if you see any life-threatening issue. She said no, you can come back "two weeks" later, which made us un-alert and optimistic. Anyhow the situation was not right the whole night but we waited to the second day, we decided that we need some x-ray, ultra sound to see what is really going on. Banfield told us they have x-ray (it was even very blurry based on ER afterwards) and kept my pet having difficulty breathing whole day on Thursday and finally called me and said that my dog was not right the situation is bad from x-ray. But they still had no clues what is going on but still recommend to do more heartworm test and such before discharge my dog to "go home". I found situation is not right and ask for ER transfer (they did not even recommend that we need to go to ER). We end up in the ER in the evening the same day, and they immediately identify the Pneumonia case. The next day at the ER, we lost our beloved pet because we were too late the condition has been progressed severely. If we can get referral to the ER in the first visit or they can asked us to go to ER in the second visit instead of wasting one day at Banfield for unnecessary exams, we won't lose our dog. I don't know about other banfield location, but the vet in Banfield Cedar mill should be ashamed. If you ever wondered, we were the patient on 2/27 Tuesday and 2/29 Thursday. We were heading to Bridgetown ER afterward where we eventually lost our beloved dog due to severe pneumonia. How in the world a vet cannot see the obvious symptoms of pneumonia and we had told the vet that our dog had been boarding at a pet hotel before being ill.
