Last March I had the pleasure of taking Tori's full tune up class in preparation for a cross country tour. The instruction included reviewing the operation of and how to repair all of the components on my touring bike as well as my son-in-laws mountain bike. Demonstrations of technique were clear and working until we could do it ourselves helped to build my confidence for being able to manage any bicycle problem I run into on the road. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to build their knowledge of bicycle maintenance and how to "love your bike" . Thanks Tori, you will be with me in my travels.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - LEARN TO RIDE LESSONS! Our daughter (age 7 ) was having a hard time learning to ride a bike. We found Tori online & I was immediately impressed with her communication, expertise & passion. My daughter (who would choose her scooter over a bike any day of the week) was excited & nervous about learning to ride a bike. She had literally NEVER been on her bike for more than a few minutes & NEVER on her own. At the end of the very first hour lesson, Tori had our baby girl riding with NO ASSISTANCE. She seemed to really focus on the student, recognize the way they best learn & what it took to motivate. I was in shock at the end of the first hour when Tori was just running along side of the bike & not holding on! We finished our second lesson today - which focused on our daughter getting started on her own. By the end of the hour she was riding laps around the track with confidence & starting/stopping in-control of her bike. We are so thankful for Tori & are looking forward to many hours this summer riding together as family. Getting over the hump of riding on 2-wheels has been an AMAZING experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tori's LEARN TO RIDE LESSONS to any adult or child.

My seven-year-old is going to do this review herself: I really like to learning from Tori because she is funny. She was kind. She helped me learn how to ride a bike in 3 lessons! My add'l rave:. Tori was patient, present, respectful and persistent teaching our daughter. This was a great alternative to the tears and torture of teaching her ourselves :-)

I signed up for Gracie's Garage Full Tune-Up class earlier this summer. The class was extensive without being intimidating. Tori was extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful. I thought that the class was well-balanced to include the expected hands on work on your own bike as well as time for jumping into some questions/answers without going too far into the weeds (unless you really wanted to). Another bit of wisdom that Tori imparted was that it was OK to know that there would be areas of bike maintenance that might require more professional expertise - either because of the expense of tools or due to the complexity of a repair (wheel building). I've been riding mountain bike for over 20 years and can't understand why I did not take a class like this before! Now, I feel confident that I can keep my bike in good shape for every ride. Worth. Every. Penny.
