This office is about five blocks from where you would board the bus. That doesn't make sense. This was super inconvenient when we were all told to walk to the office after our bus was cancelled. I have health conditions that made it difficult to drag my suitcase that far. But don't collapse there, as it is one of the worst parts of downtown Portland, with dead rats, human feces, and the overwhelming smell of piss for the whole walk. In addition to the distance, trying to pull your suitcase over cobbly sidewalks will destroy the wheels. So that suitcase had to be replaced. The staff was nice enough, and were wading through a bunch of people's headaches. They were unable to find our tickets, nor to update them in the system. So I was sent out the door with no prospect except going to the bus the following morning without anything updated. This led to problems the next morning, as I was one of a score of travelers in the same situation. Nobody bothered to inform the bus driver that we would all be coming with tickets dated incorrectly. She was already late, this delayed us more, and then she took a wrong turn. So we roll into the next spot for a bus change. Thank goodness that the driver waited for all of us, even though we were over two hours late. Staying at the truck stop would not have been fun. Instead we arrived in Spokane, with our next bus long gone. When we asked if they were going to put us up at hotels, we were told no. Security at that station was hostile, and didn't want anyone to stay in the section where they could lay on benches instead of sitting up all night during the 22 hour wait for the next bus. This has switched to a diatribe on how much Greyhound sucks, but a "13 hour trip" turned into three days. And most of that was because of this wretched office. One traveler was on the seventh day of a two day trip, so this is not the only station that is awful. She was so upset, and I will never forget her sobbing in her friend's arms when she finally got to her destination on the buses from hell. If you're reading this and you're a class action attorney, please contact me. If you were stuck in this miserable situation with me, I am still trying to get this going, so contact me. I think we should have group therapy together to help move past the trauma caused by betrayal of service and the indignity of the whole situation. The structural violence they are inflicting on low income travelers is horrible, as I have indicated in my conversations and calls to corporate every time Greyhound ditches me in Spokane. Yes, it has happened repeatedly.

Lady at the front desk had a bad wig and worse attitude. May she get laid, since her edges CLEARLY weren't.

We need a Good interstate bus or train Station please. Tickets have to be done electronically and there is far too much cyber jacking these days to rely on digital only systems. In my experience, greyhound is simply unreliable. Love Always, #MMIP
