I was super excited about this place when I first started shopping here because people were fun and nice, the prices were incredible for food items (nearing expiration but still good) and for some household items that I assume were just closeouts. Do be careful to check expiration dates though, some items are over a year past! Unfortunately todays visit was disappointing. Overly expired food was way overpriced, and it was clear just looking at some of the food that it had already turned bad and should be tossed. Im surprised curdled food would ever be put out on a shelf but this morning I watched many employees stocking some disgusting looking expired food. I also noticed the prices on some identical items were inconsistent like two cans of beans with the same expiration and external appearance were priced differently ($4 & $2) but why? The general vibe coming from both staff and fellow shoppers was very unwelcoming and uncomfortable. It seemed not one person was happy to be there. The most frustrating thing that happened though was at checkout, the cashier was rude and unpleasant and ended up charging me for nonexistent items in my cart and then charging me more than the listed price on a lot of items. So I ended up paying $10 more than I shouldve been charged. Overall, Im really disappointed in this market now. It sadly just doesnt feel worth it to shop here anymore.

Well it was a good place to get good deals. Now they have new registers and shelving but everything is just as expensive as the regular store now.

The old management and employees were a quirky bunch that made this place fun to visit. Sometimes you'd find things that were months if not years past date, but then you'd find an extreme deal that made your trip worth it. The cashiers back then were friendly and chatty. New owners have completely overhauled the place. The prices are now 4x what they used to be; they'll type a product into Google then knock off a few cents. I've found a lot of items are now priced at retail if not higher, so what's the point? All this for a blue paint job and new aisles. The tall, Brown woman with glasses is such a miserable person. Can't be bothered by new employees asking questions, treats them and customers like trash. Really bad energy. The old store needed to be refreshed but this is not it.
