Was driving and experienced a really rude driver from this company that harassed us for not going into unsafe traffic at the end of a yellow light. License plate recorded if needed :) hi

Yes I am a real customer who just had a roof installed. I usually dont write reviews unless something goes terribly wrong or it was a particularly good experience. Weve had our fair share of mini disasters with contractors but Im happy to comment on the ladder. From the start Steve the owner was very responsive. He was the first company I contacted and so I waited to get 3-4 other bids before circling back to Portlandia. He had me come to current job sites to get a look at the shingles in person and answered all of my questions so I decided to give them the business. So glad we did. About 2 days before my install date the roof decides to start leaking (off course). That same morning Steve had a crew there to stop the leak. As I mentioned he answered all of my questions (and I had a lot) and was on site most times to manage the job which you dont see often. Fair pricing and good customer service! I believe that sets Portlandia apart! Thanks again for a very seamless and overall great experience. Highly recommend!! Services: Skylight installation, Roof installation

Well it would be nice to write a good review but he missed his commit to come out and quote and then with another prod that he would submit the quote by x. Nothing.

We bought a new home and were aware that it needed a new roof. We interviewed several roofing companies and Portlandia roofing was the most thorough one with the most reasonable price. He uses a drone to fly over the house to find out all details and then print it out and give us a very thorough report on what the roof looks like from above. The people that he hires to work on new roofs are professional, clean, and efficient. At the end of each day, Steve Smith, the owner came over with his drone and presented a picture to us immediately of the progress for that particular day. We would highly recommend him and agree with the five people we reached out to to get recommendations about him that he was the best of the lot. Most of the houses in our neighborhood were built at the same time, 22 years ago, and will be needing new roofs if they haven't put one on yet. We have told neighbors about him and I know that the word will get out if it hasn't already that he is the one you should call.
