Warning: this may be a long review: My husband and I had a fantastic experience with Eli Green and crew. One really big *green* flag for me is when I can see that the person I'm working with LOVES their work. This is definitely true for Eli. He loves his work. He loves the people he is working with and he wants to make something that they love. Eli is clearly confident in his designs and the workmanship of his crew and it shows through. We talked to Eli a couple of times before deciding to work with them for an ADU in our backyard. There was never any hard sell. It was easy to talk about the costs. He only wanted us to sign on if it was going to work for us. He answered every question with transparency. I never felt like I was bothering him with all my weird little questions. SQFT was able to handle everything--permitting, covenants with the county, subcontracting, etc, etc. It was a one-stop shop, which was really appealing and reassuring to us. We were doing all this planning during COVID times when supply and pricing was changing a lot and this made my husband and I re-think the project. Eli was 100% willing to work with us on value engineering (while keeping the construction very high quality, long-lasting and energy efficient). In the end, we decided to invest in something different than the ADU, which was a DIFFICULT decision, not the least of which was how attached we were to SQFT, their design, and general wonderfulness. In fact, we haven't ditched the idea of doing it at a later date. Even though we don't have a picture of the finished product to show, we really wanted to show our appreciation by writing a glowing review. We were happy with everything that was in SQFT's control (they had no control over the skyrocketing prices and the slowness of the permitting office :/ ) You couldn't go wrong by using this team. Highly recommend.

Eli and his SQFT studios crew delivered a beautiful, high-quality guest suite. They transformed our rarely used small backyard into a comfortable and useful space for guests, family, and our own enjoyment. Eli was a great partner throughout the entire journey. He provided his expertise and also listened to and incorporated our vision. We LOVE the final product!

Eli was the best to work with while we were drawing up plans for a beach cottage in Oregon. He listened to all our needs with passionate detail, and really created something that we will love forever! The work that SQFT Studios does is unparalleled and I would recommend them to anyone!
