I'm incredibly fortunate that my friends referred me to Gerald Mosley. Thanks to his tireless efforts, as of 2018, I now have an amazing place to call home, one that's perfectly suited to my needs, goals, abilities, and personality. As a first-time homebuyer relocating to Portland, I worried that my modest budget and unfamiliarity with the different neighborhoods would make me a low-priority, back-burner client - or worse, that I might get pressured or rushed into getting something that wasn't really right for me. My fears were entirely unfounded: Gerald treated me with the utmost respect, always responded promptly, and thoughtfully considered my must-haves and nice-to-gets. He made sure I had plenty of opportunities to see tons of houses, discuss pros/cons while driving around, and learn the different areas. School was in session. With each house we visited, I gained a greater appreciation for Gerald's brilliant command of construction styles and materials and his extensive personal experience with both DIY and contracted-out renovations. I'm grateful that he was willing to share so much of his know-how with me, as it helped me feel capable of making educated decisions about the homes I was considering buying - and surely avoid falling into a money pit or two. At every step of the way, he helped me feel familiar with and in control of the process. When it came time to put in an offer on a house, we discussed numbers and he dialed in on the right amount that would be favorable to me yet compelling in a seller's market. I've never seen anyone work so hard, and his diligence resulted in my being able to close in less than three weeks. He has my heartiest recommendation and I look forward to working with him again in future. If you need a skilled Realtor who genuinely cares about his clients, Gerald is beyond compare!
