Michelle and her team are total rockstars, and we could not have asked for a better team to lead us through the home buying process. Michelle was our realtor and helped us find our DREAM HOME! But the main reasons I would recommend Michelle McCabe and her team over other realtors is not just finding the right home, but (1) being a bulldog negotiator so we saved heaps of money (2) guiding us from start finish, from financing to inspections, to closing, to finding the right people to do work/repairs (this can be stressful but not with Michelle as your guide!) (3) being such a wealth of information for the entire PDX area, you have a question? It will be answered with all the info you could want and need. I highly HIGHLY recommend Michelle!!

As first time home buyers we didn't know where to start and immediately felt overwhelmed by the process. So I began my real estate agent search where I search for all things these days, Instagram. Naturally. For some reason I had already been following @mypdxprops for some time as I think she was a recommended account due to some other local real estate accounts I had looked at. Low and behold my dream real estate agent was already my "friend". I reached out to Michelle via DM on Instagram and she responded quickly and with some enthusiasm. She was so easy to communicate with and flexible in setting up a time to meet in person to chat about our goals. From the first message to meeting in person to going on home tours with her, the whole thing felt so natural. I didn't realize it was going to be that quick and easy!During the shopping phase Michelle and Allie (her assistant)were responsive with our tour requests and set up appointments so quick. They were pleasant and fun to be around when we went from home to home. They were super knowledgable about the homes we were looking at and answered all our questions unbiasedly which helped us make informed decisions. When things got intense with the first home we put an offer on but didn't get Michelle was so great and positive in the way she handled my utter heartache. I was devastated and felt like it was the end of the world (drama queen, I know) but Michelle graciously reassured me time and time again that our perfect home was still out there waiting for us to find it. She was so right.We found it on May 1st 2019. It was the 9th home we toured. The entire contract phase lasted 27 days and because she and her team are so savvy at what they do all negotiations, repairs and contingencies were completed quickly and we were able to sign and close on the same day! We moved into our first home on May 29th and have been loving every single second of living in it!Listen, I'm sure there are many great real estate agents out there that can find you a great home, help prepare a killer offer and even close in less then 30 days, but what Michelle does is so beyond those things. After we closed we came to find out we were 1 of 7 clients of hers she closed in May. I was blown away when I found that out because I would have thought we were her only clients with how much attention we got! She was so responsive, easy to get a hold of, would check in on us and remind us of things we needed to do. She never seemed stressed or frazzled. She was always so chill and easy going. She always answered my silly questions in a way that never made me feel silly for asking. She got all the bids for repairs so quickly, scheduled some major work to get done on the house and negotiated our deal in our favor like some kind of magician! I could go on and on about how amazing Michelle is but honestly I can't thank her enough for how she played such an important role in changing our lives. We will always remember this major event in our lives with joy and fondness and that's 100% because of her.
