There's some secrecy to this--the outside door is locked and you have to phone David in the shop. what a special place: books for booklovers, authors I've known about and couldn't find elsewhere, interesting writers I've never heard of, artists' books, rare editions. A bare bones atmosphere cause it's the books that matter. And David Abel has a national (if not worldwide) reputation as a book collector and evaluator, and is very generous with his knowledge.

Such a treasure. Books you may never get the chance to explore anywhere else. I haven't been in for a while, but after pandemic my wish is to again. Such knowledge, the owner has and very kind, as I recall. I am writing this because covid has been a difficult time for us all.
