Is it The Best Reuben On The Planet? No. Is it the best Reuben in PDX. Sure. Lets give them that. Dont get me wrong: It is a very good sandwich If the above is not blasphemous enough, I will say that I prefer their turkey Reuben. The corned beef has a lot of clove in the rub. You need to like that flavor to truly enjoy it

The food is great here. The sandwiches really are the best. The pizza sandwich is no good, though. The pizza is good but takes an hour to prepare sometimes. The beet salad is great and the beer is good. The liquor is far too expensive for the place. Much fancier places charge less. Service varies, some of the servers are excellent, others give you lip. Twice, a server took more tip than I wrote in. I reported it but nothing was done. I still go there, though, and just try to avoid that server. The crowd there is typically fun. The owner is usually around and working, which is nice - it shows passion and oversight.
