STORYTELLING HEADSHOTS | Corporate Headshots + Business Portraits in Downtown Portland

As I got closer to launching my new website, I knew I needed to get serious about getting a proper headshot. The problem was that I didn't want a run-of-the-mill picture. I wanted a photograph that would capture the joy I have for my work, my desire to help people, and that I am a friendly, fun, accessible teacher. Yikes, tall order - especially given that I don't think I've ever seen a photo of myself that conveys those things. Fast-forward to the day of my photoshoot with Storytelling Headshots and there's AJ: taking the whole thing in hand with calm, humor and clarity - including my anxiety that this was never, ever going to work out. Long story short, my headshots are unbelievable. (All of them, I kid you not.) Not only did I get a great picture for my homepage, I got about ten. AJ has this rare gift of being able to capture the essence of spirit in a photograph. If you look at any of the photographs on her website, you'll know exactly what I mean. If you need the most dynamite photographs of your life, AJ is a master of her craft and worth every single penny. Your only worry is going to be if she has any openings in her schedule (no joke).

My make-up was natural and the pictures I got received great reviews on the qualities I wanted to portray to my clients. I told her I had a closed deadline on my website launch and she was able to produce my headshots before the deadline she had quoted. I would recommend their services!
