Dr. Surratt was highly recommended to me as one of the top podiatrists in Oregon. He was fantastic, thorough and identified my issue right away! Pain free for the first time in years.

Dr Surratt is not a warm and fuzzy kind of doctor.
His demeanor is of someone in a hurry.
At one of my visits I had more questions to ask about my surgery. He said that he had another patient and was gone.
On another occasion I asked if I could see my X-rays. He really didnt respond to that.
Surgery is serious and his explanations of what was going on and what to expect were minimal.
As a patient new to the surgery I experienced I would have liked to be treated more as a person than an object.
I did find a solution to getting more information from Dr Surratt. I took my husband to a consultation. Dr Surratt was friendly and more forthcoming. His assistant gave me a copy of my X-ray as I was leaving his office.
He could have gone over it with me.
Making an emergency appointment with Dr Surratt was not easy. I called the office on a Monday and was told he was in surgery and was booked solid on Tuesday. I was persistent and managed to get an appointment with another doctor the same day.
Dr Surratt only takes patients on Tuesdays and every other Wednesday. It was evident he doesnt have a backup on call.
After 6 weeks my surgery site is still swollen and painful even after a painful cortisone injection.
I read online it may take 6 months for it to get back to being normal.
