This company charges outrageously high prices and they are deceptive about their pricing. Their initial bid to fix the problem with my sewage ejector pump was $13,500 worst case scenario they told me with the possibility to get some of that money back. Thats a lot of money, but I figured that seemed like a reasonable amount to fix it because my neighbor paid $18,000 to have his sewage ejector pump leaks fixedthat involved cutting concrete to find the leaks. I assumed the bid from Wolcott covered the cost of chasing down the leaks but it didnt. They fixed the obvious leak right next to the pump, but didnt even look for other leaks. I found water gushing from more outside leaks after they were gone. Wolcott came back, reassessed and told me I was going to have to pay $40,000 more to replace the leaking pipes. It took me two days to get someone to call me back. I needed to know how much I was going to have to pay for the work that had already been done so I could get another bid for the remaining work. The total bill for six hours of the Plumbers time (some of that time was on the phone trying to find a new sewage ejector pump), a couple of hours for an assistant plumber and two guys with shovels was over $5000. When I asked them to explain how they came up with that number, the manager reluctantly explained that they use project management pricing software that takes into account all of the costs for the company. What that means for the customer is that their charges are heavily inflated. For example, they charged almost $900 for five hours of work from two guys with shovels that they called their excavation team. They moved very little soft, wet dirtI could have done it in an hour! When I told one of the managers that was an outrageous amount of money for what they did, he said that thats why they dont reveal their pricing structure to customers. Im sure that account management software makes them a lot of money but the point is that they charge exorbitant prices that dont seem to be based in the actual work done. I got a quote from Royal Flush plumbing for $27,500$7500 less than the $40,000 quote from Wolcott. Casey from Royal Flush was conscientious and informative and gave me choices about how to proceed. He was very clear about explaining everything. Do not even call Wolcott because you cant trust their estimates and their pricing structure is predatory. I wish I had read the negative reviews about this company before I called them. Take a look at all the one and two star reviews and youll see that people had the exact same kind of problems that I had with ridiculously high bills for minimal work done. Not sure how they live with themselves ripping off unsuspecting customers on a regular basis.

I have been very disappointed with my experience with Wolcott. They replaced our house water lines and their plumbers drilled through our joists which impacted the structural integrity of our home. It took months of constantly calling them before they found an engineer and contractor to complete the repairs. Overall it took five months since the start of the project before it was fixed and they continued to rarely call to update us. I asked for a very small discount from the project cost for the significant hassle we had from their error. The Wolcott management declined this request. We will suggest anyone but Wolcott for any plumbing needs.

Excellent and very helpful people. I will use them again and I highly recommend them for all your plumbing, air conditioning and heating needs. Oh, and by the way, they found the best way for me to fix my water by a recommendation and no charge to me. A great team of experts!

I had a great experience with Wolcott. I had an issue with my kitchen faucet and from the website, to getting quick service , the folks on the phone, to the excellent work of Thomas who fixed my sink, it was a positive experience, from start to finish.
