        It is nearly impossible to get an appointment for your dog with Haley and that is for good reason. She loves her clients and is an excellent groomer. She has been Trixies groomer for more than six years now.

        I thought that she was an excellent groomer until months later I find that she does not do the gland expression and all of a sudden now my dog has had the worst time with that and possibly infected because she never even told me that she didn't do the gland expression I just happened to one day see something wasn't right with my dog's bottom that's not okay for a groomer to do that you are leaving our animals at risk of having an infection in their bottom area and that is not okay I will not be returning my dog back be aware people she does not do the gland expression on your dog

        I called, and they sounded like they were speaking through a wall, and I told her that cause I couldn't understand what she was saying, and after a few seconds, she hung up on me. Called back, and it rang and rang until voice mail. RUDE!

      Im sorry that this is upsetting to you however I do not do anal glands on dogs because they need to be done by a veterinarian. Vets do internal expression and groomers can only do external expression which can cause issues for the dog. I tell my customers when they ask about getting the glands done that a vet needs to do them because groomers can actually cause damage to the dog by doing them. Causing a weakening of the muscle, ruptures and other issues. For these reasons I also do not have it listed as a service I offer on my website.
