        Car broken into. They broke 2 windows and didnt take anything. When we left there was another 2 cars broken into. Do not park here

        Save yourself the trouble and take your chances elsewhere. The rear window of our rental was smashed within hours of us parking here - no reason, the car was empty. Every morning we passed through the lobby of our hotel, we heard another story about someone who parked here and had their windows smashed. Why bother paying a premium to park in a garage when you'd be just as safe (or safer!) parking on the street?

        We parked overnight while staying at the hotel across the street. They smashed our cars rear window and stole a rain jacket. We were passing by on our way to Cannon Beach. We canceled our plan to dine in downtown Portland and going to the beach, and instead drove back home to WA. We dont plan to ever come back to Portland.
