We have used 1859 for multiple interior paint projects and drywall repair. They do an excellent job, are very nice people, and are affordable. If you need painting in Portland, these are the guys to hire.

Location: Tigard, OR Interior painting and other remodel work done to update 1963 house to sell. Great working with Kyle and his team. Very easy to communicate and make changes as the project evolved! Definitely would recommend!

1859 Painting hustled to get my vaulted family room and kitchen painted during the holidays. They gave a fair bid and then finished the work within a week. They went above and beyond - helping me to remove a ceiling fan, replace lightbulbs, and patch plaster while they were painting. Quality work and friendly people, I would highly recommend them! In fact, I hope to have them back then summer to paint the outside of the house.

As a general contractor 1859 Painting has been my go to painters for years. My standards are high, as I was a painting contractor myself for over 25 years. Kyle and his crew make me feel safe that I can hand a job over to them and they will execute to mine and my clients standards. I have used this company on a number of jobs, from a quick repaint to a historic restoration and appreciate that Kyle can have conversations about the specifics of a job. Not all jobs are the same, and the cookie cutter approach does not work on all houses. I appreciate being able to work with him and my clients to craft solutions that fit specific clients and budgets needs.
