Dr. Winchester is the ophthalmologist I've been looking for all my life!  I've always felt rushed and a little dismissed by eye doctors in the past, despite my eyes really being my greatest health concern.  Dr. Winchester really took time to listen and address my concerns with novel approaches, and her exam was extremely thorough and well explained. I'm so happy to have found her!

One of the most unethical medical practices or doctors I've ever been to. The doctor Dr Winchester verbally attacked me and berated me for using FDA approved sleepable contact lenses when I came in for care for my eye and in the first 2 minutes of the conversation said she wouldn't accept me as a patient after this visit. After a very unpleasant, unfriendly rude $200 checkup I was finally given the $20 prescription I needed for my eye. The initial prescription wasn't enough to correct the problem - when I called back to get a refill was told they wouldn't offer me a refill or see me again. The word UNETHICAL barely even scratches the surface of the VALUES and PRACTICES of this eye care center. They would literally rather risk my permanent vision loss than do what is right for a patient. I cannot possibly encourage you enough NOT to ever go to this clinic or see Dr Winchester. All she cares about is money and herself - she's not in it to help people and doesn't care about her patients. Update: sent me a letter with inaccurate information and accounts of my visit...barely received it because it was incorrectly addressed.

Dr. Winchester was fabulous. I went in for dry eyes and a new eyeglass prescription. No one likes bright lights, numbing drops and all of that but she made it much easier due to her warm bedside manner. I appreciate that she gave me several things to do to address my eye issue and explained why it was so important (she showed me a picture of what happens when the oil glands get plugged and atrophy- motivating). I went to her based upon the other reviews even though she was out of network for me, in part because I was in a hurry but also because she's local and I'm so glad I went!

My wife and I have had a horrible time with this office as far as billing goes. They have consistently billed us incorrect amounts, reimbursed us incorrect amounts, and charged us late fees while being completely at fault for misfiling insurance information. I don't know if these problems are unique to this branch, but I would avoid it at all costs. This much stress is just not worth it.
