Lazy ER doctors, can't put weight on a leg and have severe body swelling along with elevated white counts but nope nothing is wrong after only testing for one cause. nothing else. No x-ray of the leg nothing. They didn't even allow me to use a wheelchair. Horrible experience.

Well they are my preferred provider yet they will not do vacectomy in their facilities due to archaic religion. So I was unable to get my hernia surgery and vasectomy at the same time. And to do it outside of provider would be out of pocket 20,000. So thanks for forcing your terrible written religion on me

During a trip to Alaska, I ended up at Providence Alaska Medical Center after becoming quite ill. I was nervous being so sick while extremely far away from home. I went through the ER, but didn't wait long at all. The staff was wonderful, calming, and understanding. The doctor was very thorough in making sure nothing was missed, ran all the appropriate tests, and diagnosed me accordingly. I was concerned about a prescription I was given, so the doctor (Matthew Madden), and later my nurse (David from Atlanta), went over all the side effects and literature. The entire staff took their time explaining things and making sure I felt comfortable. I highly recommend this hospital. Terrible. I had an appointment for pediatric gastro, went to building A as thats where it was supposed to be, couldnt find the office anywhere. Had to go to front desk for help and I was told its in A building fifth floor, went all the way back to building A to floor 5 and was told that gastro moved a block down. It was no fun getting there, no directions, no address, no signs, and when I finally got there the building was horribly run down. Found the gastro office in the corner with no signs and was told I was 11 minutes late, 1 minute pass their "10 minute no show" policy, they were on lunch break so they didnt answer the phone which Ive been calling for the past half hour. Now I have to wait another month or more for an appointment. Terrible. Worst pediatric medical team.in this state. If your child has had cancer or does have it. And gets sick you bet your life they won't help your kid even if they can unless you force them to not ignore important results. One of the oncologist let's call her Dr.W failed to properly diagnose what was a lower respitory infection in my son before she had any tests done she didn't give him antibiotics and failed to do a scan on his lungs when I had asked because I was concerned of pneumonia. He later was admitted because the same.lung collapsed and again and she avoided standard practice. So I had to remove her from his care team Worst pediatric medical team.in this state.
