Extraordinarily long wait times and poor communication. Even when you show up for a scheduled appointment you can expect to wait an entire hour to be seen. I once waited two hours. The staff fail to communicate with my pharmacy and insurance to get my medications delivered to the clinic prior to my appointment. The phone waits are on par with the in office wait times- expect and hour. This is pretty unacceptable patient care. Ive been at this clinic for years and have seen no improvement. This is my experience..... they do not answer the darn phone! Replying to me on mychart takes days, as well. However, my doctor is great, I just feel she is extremely busy. But with staff that isn't available, it just makes it really hard to feel taken care of when you are in need. And with chronic disabling daily migraines, it really is frustrating. This office has some of the worst communication skills of any medical office I have seen, which is saying something. The care is good, the medical providers are aware and decently competent. However, I have now been in multiple situations where I have been on hold for up to an hour trying to speak with anybody, have received no online communication/follow ups to emails, and have had to micromanage any paperwork needs I have visavis documentation, prescriptions, and referrals. This is unacceptable and disappointing when Headache Specialists are few and far between. Patients deserve better. Dr Cohan was sent to me by God. He found me in the er,after having a ct scan. I had gone to the er for a severe head ache. He was there to see one of his patients and was shown my scan. I was in his office within a couple of days. He made sure I understood it would take some time to find out if I had ms .He was always so caring, understanding,and made sure I understood what he was doing and why. He not only cared about my ms issues, he cared about all my other health issues I may have been having. He was concerned about me because I did have issues with many medications, cared about a bad knee replacement I had , actually found a clot in my carotid artery. He was also concerned about my bad marriage and it's effect on my ms. I saw him for 13 years and only left because I ran from my abusive husband. I told him what state I was going to and said what town I would to depended on what doctor he wanted me to see. I can't believe it took me this long to write a review.I will miss him dearly.
