Rooms: The rooms are run down, they stink, everything is very old and out dated. I'd be SHOCKED if they don't have bed bugs and/or worse!

I've stayed at Budget Lodge a few times in the last few months. Rooms are oddly shaped and poorly arranged. Bathrooms are poorly maintained with very small shower stalls, which are rusty and often malfunction. There is rarely toilet paper provided. In smoking rooms, there are no ash trays. Depending on the room, you may have to unplug the refrigerator to plug in the microwave. A $25 deposit is charged and the staff will only return it if you meet with them to inspect the room as you check out. My time there has only been in the winter, so I cannot speak to the quality of the air conditioning, but the heating in rooms is subpar. All of this at the price of a much nicer motel, of which there are many nearby.

If I could it would be negative. For starters, the receptionist was quite rude. I know I arrived at 8pm but that was because I was late getting out of the hospital. He also wasn't very accommodating. He didn't answer questions I had about the room and shrugged me off when I asked about wifi.He watched me go to my room which was creepy. He did make a rude comment about my walker on the way out the door. Now comes the room. For a non smoking room there was a smell like it had been smoked in(lingering nicotine smell)The bedding had holes from cigarettes. The carpet is tattered. The bathroom sink won't shut off fully. There was hair in the shower and the toilet needed to be cleaned. If you want to charge anything there's one outlet to use that isn't fully occupied. This place is not wheelchair friendly because there are stairs before each set of doors. The room is quite small and also not designed to have wheelchair access. There is an issue with privacy as the back window in this unit is directly next to a walkway where people go by all night. (I was up till 3am) I wouldn't recommend this place. And honestly it should be renovated at the least.
