OHSU Primary Care Clinic, Marquam Hill

I think most of these reviews are from first time patients awed at the building itself. After being told today that I had an appointment at 11;45 and then seeing it was actually for 11:05, and the doctor not able to see me, I have to say My care here has gotten progressively worse over the years, as a disabled person its extremely hellish to navigate communication and is made a nightmare by the near mandatory usage of the extremely hard to use MyChart, or playing phone tag. Ever since I lost my regular doctor and my autism specialist at their Childrens wing and they never replaced the position Ive felt so lost and i feel like the professionalism here has just been on a straight decline. After all I have been through it makes the process of coming to the doctor traumatic. Ive had doctors not listen to what Im saying, not listen to what I ask for, and combative front desk people.

They take time to listen, wait times arent bad at all, and doctors-in-training see you with along with their supervisor so it feels great to know you are helping them at the same time.

Dr. Chen was fantastic to work with. She isn't afraid to address a patient's individual needs with regards to referrals, communication style, treatment preferences, etc. She won't rush you into medications, or make you feel like a crazy person for having tough to explain symptoms. Other practitioners here are ready and willing to help their fellows out for stand-in appointments, and will usually take the time to read through even a complex chart before meeting with you, even just once. Reception is professional and friendly. The nurses are incredible. There must be a reason why this team made it to the top of the hill. Thank you guys so so so much for helping me as much as you could.
