Providence Gateway Family Medicine - Portland

This morning I went to a Providence urgent care, and was written an order for blood work. The provider stated I could go to any Providence immediate care center to perform the bloodwork as the immediate cares had laboratories. When I went to the immediate care, they stated that I could only get the blood work done if I receive the order from an immediate care doctor and that I would have to go to a LabCorp somewhere to get the blood work done. The runaround Ive received from both clinics is frustrating.

My family's doctor has gotten extremely lazy. My autistic son has had sleep issues for years and he is absolutely no help. Just keeps giving us the runaround. My partner has been having issues with her thyroid and he just told her she was fat and needed to lose weight. Calling providence today to get a new doctor who will actually do their job and not waste our time.

I have been going here for about 3 years now. My doctor does not listen to me. She tells me to used My Chart which I do. So I send her important messages and a few days later they are erase like I never made one . Twice now medication is not being filled for my fibromyalgia. Which isn't much one pain pill per day. Not to much I might become a drug addicted. Before her when I was working I used to take 3 a day. Then I never got addicted to drugs but I guess 61 year Olds does it now. My doctor never listen to me. The front desk needs to go to Safeway training to learn how to treat their customers. That's what we are to them. We are not patient's to them. They didn't go to school to qualify to be anything to have with patient's. We are customers. Be more nice. If you hate your job then quit. I am sure there is someone nicer then you guys that more then willing to take it. What does that women do that sits at the desk in the lobby. Nothing. She was supposed to help me but she never follows through. What a joke she is. Just collecting money. For not doing her job. The manager is so clueless. All the manager said we will take care of this problem but that a lie also. I am looking as fast as I can for a new doctor because Dr. ROMPALA is not doing it for me.
