We have been here 8 days with my dad all staff has been exceptional aside from nurse Shevaun who thinks she is head nurse in charge. My dad has had a cup of coffee daily and now this nurse refuses to allow him to have it! I have brought him healthy food every day but this nurse wants to have a fit about it and try to force him to eat what they offer. We are about one rude remark away from requesting a different day nurse. He's a heart patient he doesn't need the stress of a rude nurse when the rest of the staff have been so caring and accommodating!

Incredibly organized, staffed by elite professionals. My recent heart procedure went very smoothly. From admittance to discharge everything was on time. Parking was good

The worst EMERGENCY ROOM I have been to! They provided NO services, NO care, NO tests, NO evaluation, NO ER Dr., nothing but produced a fraudulent and abusive bill of $1,800! They wasted 4 hours of my fast-spreading infection time.

I want to start by saying I have no complaints regarding the staff who treated me themselves, but their billing practices are ABSOLUTELY INSANE. I hurt my ankle pretty badly and wasn't sure if it was broken. So, I went to the ER, wasn't there long, got an x-ray, and was told my ankle was sprained, but not broken. They gave me some crutches and sent me on my way. Cut to me getting the bill, which was over $1600. BUT WAIT, that's not what I'm angry about. It's the fact that $1400 of what they're charging me is JUST FOR GOING TO THE ER. Literally. The actual cost of the x-ray was just over $200, my insurance covered about $300, and then they're charging me a "professional ER fee" of about $300 AND a pharmacy fee. I didn't go to their pharmacy, nor speak with anyone from their pharmacy. I did not get a prescription from them, they didn't inject me with anything. I didn't want to wait on hold with their billing department, so left my number for a call back. I just got one, and though I was polite, agitated surely, but polite, and the representative HUNG UP ON ME. I did not cuss, yell, or abuse her in any way. She didn't even say anything after the initial "How may I help you?" She just heard me explaining and I guess just didn't want to deal and hung up on me. I'm furious. So with all of the above, let's just say I'm justifiably annoyed, but this was just the cherry on top of how evil this place is. About 5 years ago, I was pregnant with my first baby. I was only a few days from entering my second trimester when I started to bleed, so we went to the ER. I was waiting there, ACTIVELY BLEEDING, FOR OVER 4 HOURS. I ended up miscarrying in their waiting room, squeezing my husband's hand and whimpering in pain. They did nothing about it. By the time I saw a doctor, the baby was gone and I was left with a hefty bill. Either way, if you have to go to the ER, DO NOT GO TO PROVIDENCE.
